Raah is always a pleasure to work with. I value her as a friend and instructor. Her dedication and passion for Dancehall is always admirable. Her contribution to Funki Studios has always been more than appreciated. Her professionalism and willingness to contribute to our dance community has made it a pleasure to work with her. I say if you want to learn Dancehall and the break down of steps, you will definitely want to take her class. It’s always refreshing to learn a dance style from someone who is from the culture itself. Authenticity is a rare find here in Seattle.
Class was so fun! I appreciate the clear way you break down the moves and-Come on people! Take this class!
Raah Vibez’s class gives ENERGY!!!! It is such a fun workout that pushes your creativity. She creates a safe space for beginners to get outside their comfort zone and build confidence; while challenging more advanced dancers. She encourages questions and will take the time to review any step. If you know Raah Vibez, it’s always a party when you are dancing with her. Try out her class, I promise you will have so much fun!

Definitely recommend...So fun, great exercise
I had been wanting to take a dance class for a while and I'm so glad I tried this one! I was outside of my comfort zone and had such a great time. Class began on time and Raah does a great job of helping dancers feel comfortable and explaining/breaking down choreo and continually checks in to make sure everything is clear and you don't forget to have fun! Would take another class in a heartbeat !
Raah Vibez is a great teacher - her classes are so fun and informative! You can tell that she cares deeply about dancehall and its history. Take her class if you get a chance!
Classes with Raah Vibez give me so much life! She shares her knowledge, power, passion, skill, creativity, and beauty with both playfulness and reverence. I always look forward to class and always leave feeling better than I came!
I love dance classes with Raah Vibez! High energy, good vibes and she is so supportive to everyone, even non-dancers. I also really appreciate the classes where she teaches dancehall technique ❤️ Highly recommend!!!
Had a blast this weekend at the class in NYC! The class was beginner friendly but also allowed you to take things up a notch once you felt comfortable. I loved how everyone was able to feel included, even if some of us required extra instruction😂 It didn't even feel like we were there for an hour because the class left me wanting to stay for another hour, looking forward to the next class!
The choreography was fun. The experience was personal and we were able to ask questions. I love how there’s a warm up portion.
I have gotten a chance to work with Raah one on one and have attended a few of her Sunday classes. I love that she brings the energy and teaches from a place of love. She was very reassuring and good at pointing out what I needed to work on. I have become more confident about dancing around others since working with her. And I am happy to say my waistline is a lot less stiff.
I'm inexperienced in dance to say the least. Before working with Raah, I had taken a handful of dance lessons: a few hip hop classes, and some Bollywood and ballroom for a wedding. Outside of that my dance experience was limited to throwing my limbs around at a night club like I was being controlled by an intoxicated marionettist. The instructors I worked with previously taught me the steps and I kinda just went through the motions. Raah's class was different from the get-go. She made it really clear what she wanted you to be focusing on for the session, and actually spent time talking about the intangibles to give context to what I was learning ("Faces! Use the space!"). What was great was even though it was framed as a hip hop class, it actually was very applicable to pretty much any type of dance I did. Since taking her class I've been in four Indian weddings, and learned over 20 minutes of choreography. I was even placed in the front row for some of the dances! Which, I understand may not mean much to you reading this, but for me it made me a much better dancer, and more importantly gave me the confidence to perform publicly. The context Raah gives you with her incredible experience and work ethic really is that something extra that I never got working with other instructors.
I’m going to be honest, I’m not a dancer 😭 and I didn’t know what to expect when my friend asked me to take a class with her but baybeeeeeeeee, a class w. @raah.vibez is everything I didn’t know I needed. She went to the pace of the class, broke down all the moves, and created an atmosphere that made me feel comfortable to do all the things you saw in the video 😭. I felt like one of the professional dancers I see on IG. On a metaphysical sense, her class helped release stuck masculine energy and allowed for a more clearer flow of the feminine. If anyones ever told you, you need to get in touch with your feminine qualities or your someone who just wants a space to be you, build confidence, and a love of self, you’re at the right place. Between the education of the culture to hyping up every person there, I honestly can’t wait until she comes back to NY and 🤞🏾 she stays!
